IATDMCT 2022 will be the 20th opportunity for experts in TDM and CT from the whole world to meet and shape the future of our field. The theme of the congress is Bridging the Troubled Waters.

23rd International Congress of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring & Clinical Toxicology 2026 |

Deadline: July 31, 2022
At the 2022 IATDMCT Congress in Prague, the venue for the 2026 Congress will be chosen.
Members interested in submitting a proposal to host the Congress must submit an application by July 31, 2022. The purpose of this application is to provide guidance for candidates and to facilitate the task of selecting the final site, for the Site Selection Committee. You may choose to submit the information required on the application form in a different format, but all questions on the form should be addressed. Very often a tourism office, conference centre, or hotel in the region can help you gather the information.

IATDMCT Blog: IATDMCT Blog: Interview with Ranita Kirubakaran |
|
This month we hear from Ranita Kirubakaran, clinical pharmacist working in Seberang Jaya Hospital, Penang, Malaysia. At the Rome 2022 IATDMCT congress, Ranita won the Young Scientist poster prize for her work titled ‘Matters close to the heart: adaptation of tacrolimus models to inform therapeutic drug monitoring using the PRIOR approach.’ This work was conducted as part of her PhD while she was based at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. Ranita has since returned to Malaysia and shares about her experiences. Looking forward to further excellent work from this bright Young Scientist!

Special Edition – Therapeutic Drug Monitoring |

Dear colleagues,
Uwe Christiansen (Editor in Chief) and Maria Shipkova (Review Editor) of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring plan a special issue of the journal to honour the pioneer work of Professor Charles Pippenger, the founder of the Journal.
The theme of said Issue will be “Innovations in Therapeutic Drug Monitoring”. Appreciated are original manuscripts, opinion papers as well as critical reviews on emerging technologies and approaches in the field of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.

JSTDM-IATDMCT Joint Symposium for TDM in Asia-Pacific Region Concludes Successfully |
|
This May we held the JSTDM-IATDMCT Joint Symposium for TDM in Asia-Pacific Region which included the enthusiastic participation of IATDMCT members Smita Pattanaik, Sophie Stocker, Suzana Mustafa, Kei Irie.
The meeting incorporated pharmacokinetic study of Gentamicin and anti-viral drugs, Mycophenolate TDM and model informed precision medicine dosing. It was really fantastic to hear a variety of experiences in the clinical practice of TDM!
Thank Dr. Yusuke Tanigawara and Dr. Ryuji KATO for organizing this great session.
