June 27, 2022
Here we are at the end of a month and, in a way, the end of an era--Doris Barrera, our membership coordinator, is moving on. Doris, pictured here in her "happy place" at Cream of Wheaton, came to the Chamber in 2017 as an administrative assistant. She leaves us as membership coordinator, a role she grew into based on her superlative customer service skills. Although Doris is "retiring" from Chamber life, she may resurface in her former field of manufacturing. Wherever she goes, we send her with love and appreciation for all she has contributed to us.
As we bid a fond farewell to Doris, we welcome Lilly Chan, a recent graduate of Liberty University who has jumped in to help us with the transition. Lilly is a Wheaton resident and she worked for one of our Distinguished Members, Mathieson, Moyski, Austin & Co., during a challenging tax season. She brings skills in communications and we're delighted to have her aboard. Thank you for welcoming Lilly to our team.

Change is a constant~
New Member Joins the Chamber

Welcome to Mark Peterson and Peterson Publications Services, Inc./ Premier Chicagoland. Mark comes to the Wheaton Chamber with a New Mover program that he is rolling out in the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn area. Mark shared that his program will reach new movers with special offers from local businesses. He also said he'll be providing a special member-to-member deal to those who are interested. You can reach Mark via email or by calling 630-202-6832.
And while they aren't a new member, The Protein Spot is the new name of the company formerly known as Protein House. Look for the new name and logo when you go visit Juan and Pamela Rubio at The Protein Spot, 111 Front Street. A rose by any other name smells as sweet--or in this case, tastes as good!
