Summertime!
Ah... summertime! Time to unwind and enjoy your favorite outdoor activity - off to the beach or mountains, hanging out at the neighborhood pool, reading a good book just because you can, and gardening - my favorite!

It's also a great time to include yoga classes and home practice into your weekly routine to feel your absolute best and keep your whole self strong and supple. Many new students joined the studio for classes in the Late Spring Session - a trend we hope to continue and build upon. Be sure to say hello to folks who are new in your class and encourage them to keep coming back - that's how yoga practice works best!

Just for summer, the price of unlimited passes increased to reflect the additional 2 weeks of classes in the 10 week session.

Reserving your spot in classes
We love that many students rush to reserve their spot in weekly classes for the entire session the minute registration opens for a new session (truly - it's exciting receiving all those Punchpass notifications in my email :). However, please only reserve a spot in classes you intend to come to, so other students can avoid being placed on the waitlist because the class is full. Many of our newer students were closed out of classes last session, only to have current students cancel their spot at the last minute - too late for others to make plans to come to class. We are always seeking balance - we only have 12 spots in each class and want everyone to have a chance to fill them! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Living in Balance with the Seasons:
Yoga and Ayurveda for Summer
Saturday July 16, 11:00am-1:30pm

In the Yoga and Ayurvedic tradition, we are moving into Summer - the season of pitta imbalance. The elements of pitta are water and fire. In the summer season, those elements can create fatigue and burnout from high heat, heavy humidity and even longer hours of sunlight.
 
This workshop will lead you on a journey of staying in balance with the heat of the season. Through the Ayurvedic perspective, we can learn how to adapt our day to avoid overheating and the lack of energy that may arise. Recipes, essential oils, daily self-care, and scheduling around the high temperatures can help to avoid these tendencies. We will also have a practice utilizing movement and breathwork to lead us to an understanding of our own needs in summer. 

You will receive a handout with all the information for the season, as well as recipes for food and essential oils. Please join us! Bring your mat, blocks, blanket or towel, and most of all - an open mind and heart.

Cool summer’s heat and release tension throughout your body. Rest in restorative yoga poses and experience the healing qualities of guided meditations through the practice of yoga nidra. No experience needed. Bring a friend!
Maximum of 6 students to allow deep relaxation amidst an ocean of props.

Class Reservations Update

Waitlists
Missed reserving a spot in your favorite class and now it is full? If so, you probably landed on a waitlist.

When you try to reserve a spot in a class where all 12 places have been reserved, you have the option to sign up for the waitlist. If you are on a waitlist, check your email often for a message from Punchpass about a spot opening up in the class. Punchpass does not keep track of the order in which students sign up for the waitlist! Instead, when a spot opens up, the system automatically sends out an email to everyone on the list and encourages them to reply and take the reservation. The first student to reply gets the spot!

Changing or Cancelling Reservations
Life happens and plans change - we understand! It's easy in Punchpass for you to change or cancel your reservation.
Simply go into your account, click on the class you would like to move or cancel, and follow the prompts. Check out step-by-step instructions here.

Late Cancellations
Remember these 2 points when you cancel a class
1) Cancel Early - You can cancel a class reservation without penalty until 2 hours before a class. After that time, it is considered a Late Cancellation and you will be charged one pass as if you had attended the class. If you are cancelling late for an emergency or unavoidable reason (sudden illness, stuck on I-70 in a 2 hour traffic jam) contact the studio to avoid losing your class pass.

2) Cancellations allow another student to take your spot - It's a courtesy to other students and the teachers to cancel your class reservations rather than just not showing up for class. There are only 12 spots for each class and some classes regularly fill all 12 spots. Keep everyone happy by cancelling if you can't come (plus, that way we don't worry about what happened to you...)!

Reservation Deadline Change
Reserve your spot right before class
To make it easier to fill classes when cancellations occur, the deadline for reserving a spot is now just 30 minutes before class. That means you can take advantage of late cancellations by snagging that open spot at the last minute (well, last 30 minutes).
