HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day (HLTSAD)
HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day (HLTSAD) is held every year on the anniversary of June 5, 1981, the day of the first report of a new mysterious illness killing young gay men. 41 years later, long-term survivors are envisioning a future they never imagined—and this manifesto by a long-term survivor is impressive and important.

If you’re HIV+ and seeking community and support, CBST hosts a weekly group called Living Successfully with HIV, facilitated by Scott A. Kramer LCSW-R with Rabbi Marisa James—email Jesse Katz at jkatz@cbst.org to learn more! And visit https://www.letskickass.org/ to learn more about the national movement for long-term survivors.
