Conductor, composer, educator, and trumpeter Stephen Burns has been acclaimed on four continents for his virtuosity and interpretative depth in recitals, orchestral appearances, chamber music, and multimedia performances. Recipient of multiple prestigious awards, he is also a Yamaha performing artist. Stephen Burns founded Fulcrum Point New Music Project in 1998, bringing together a creative community of musicians, composers, poets, choreographers, visual artists and social activists. Fulcrum Point pushes the boundaries of the musical experience by supporting new compositions and performing transformative new music programs.
