Building affordable homes in
Nez Perce and Asotin counties since 1991

Continuing the
30-plus year tradition of ordinary people providing extraordinary hope!
Although there is a lot of magic that happens during the holidays, we know that homes don't bubble up from the ground like what you may see in a holiday movie. Habitat for Humanity partners with volunteers, businesses, civic organizations, and homeowner partner families to build houses.
Habitat brings communities, like the L-C Valley, together to help families have decent, affordable places to live.
The L-C Valley HFH continues to build our 35th Habitat home in the valley.
We look forward to holding a home dedication in spring 2024, when we will continue our 30-plus year tradition of ordinary people providing extraordinary hope.
On behalf of our board of directors, volunteers and staff, we wish you a holiday season filled with love and peace.

2023 Avenues for Hope
Your gift will help us finish our 35th affordable home in the Valley!
We’re counting down the days to Dec. 12 and Avenues for Hope. This is an Idaho-only fundraiser focused on nonprofits providing housing and support services to low income or homeless individuals.
L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity seeks to build new homes and provide affordable home repairs in Nez Perce and Asotin counties. Here are a couple easy ways you can support us during the event:
Be active on social media. Take advantage of social media! Post on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter about Avenues for Hope. We will post often in the coming weeks about opportunities to donate. All you have to do is share one of our posts. Then let people know you donated by using our "I Gave" graphic on your social media posts!
Make a donation 12/12-31. Avenues for Hope is a great tax-deductible, year-end giving opportunity because you can be certain all funds stay here in the valley we all call home.
The first $2,500 in donations WILL BE MATCHED by the event's sponsor, The Home Partnership Foundation. Please consider helping us toward our $10,000 goal!

House #35 Construction Update
The siding and outside trim are now done on Beni's home. Crews are now working on the outside grading to help route water away from the foundation. The next step, when the weather is warmer, is outside painting. The house is on schedule for a spring home dedication.

Meet Brian Curtis!
Brian Curtis is our Project Manager who moved to Lewiston from Southcentral Alaska to escape the cold and pursue an education. He has worked as a Project Manager in the defense industry and is also a former small business owner with 20 years of construction experience. He's enjoying all this beautiful state has to offer. When he has time away from work, he enjoys activities such as hiking, biking, riding ATVs, camping, and floating on the rivers. He enjoys working with Habitat for Humanity to support local families.
We are always seeking additional volunteers for all stages of construction. If you are interested in joining us on the build site, click here or call our office at 509-758-7396.

Clarkston Affordable Home Repair (CAHR) Update
Nora's home required many critical repairs including a plumbing leak under her bathroom and a dangerous step. “The ramp was a Godsend. I had fallen off of that step so many times and hurt myself. They made the ramp big enough so that it came all the way up to my door and added a handrail.”
GREAT NEWS! We will be able to continue critical home repairs in 2024. Our partners informed us we will be awarded Community Development Block Grant funding to conduct 13 additional home repairs in Clarkston city limits.
Starting January 2024, you can find our CAHR applications on our website. We can also mail you an application, if you call our office at 509.758.7396.
