The Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award honors one permanent faculty member with an outstanding record of teaching and a sustained commitment to student learning. The award is funded through a gift from the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation. All nominees will be notified and will receive details about the materials required to complete a Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award application.

our new colleague, Allison (Ali) Massimini.

New Point of Contact for Student Evaluations

As the Student Evaluations System Manager, Ali will be the primary point of contact for the university’s online student evaluations, the IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction (SRI). Ali will be managing and maintaining the university-wide system and processes, including overseeing site administration, coordinating with relevant teams, providing end user support, managing complications, revising instructions, and updating training materials. Ali is a dedicated and experienced professional who has a BS in Management from Rutgers University and over a decade of experience in the financial industry. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, attending Phillies and Sixers games, and spending time with her husband and children. Mental Health First Aid Training

This in-person training teaches participants how to assess a situation, listen, and refer to services or self-support options. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and mental health. There will be required pre-training course work. To cover the cost of materials, departments sending staff or faculty will be asked to do a DCA for $43.

Henry Rowan's 100th Birthday

On July 6, 1992, Henry and Betty Rowan committed $100 million to then-Glassboro State College and launched the transformation of this campus. Mr. Rowan passed away in December 2015. He would have been 100 years old today, December 4—during our Centennial year!
