Doobie Judice Graduates from LTA's Certified Travel
Specialist Program
NEW IBERIA, La. --- The Louisiana Travel Association (LTA) celebrated the graduation of Doobie Judice, assistant director of operations of the Iberia Parish Convention & Visitors Bureau (IPCVB), from the inaugural class of Louisiana’s Certified Travel Specialists (CTS) at the association’s 2022 annual meeting in Alexandria.

The 47 members of the CTS class spent all of 2021 developing their skills through four educational sessions. The graduates learned about customer service, heard from leaders in the state travel industry, explored their personal growth process, learned how to navigate Louisiana tourism resources and connected their jobs with their community.

"I’m excited to graduate as a Louisiana Certified Travel Specialist,” Judice said. “I was exposed to a lot of new ideas and learned so much from established leaders in the tourism industry. I believe I will benefit from this program for years to come."

Judice has been working at IPCVB in New Iberia since 1997.

"Doobie began his tenure as a volunteer and very quickly proved to be a valuable asset," said Fran Thibodeaux, IPCVB's executive director. "In four months through his diverse talents he revealed how well suited he was for another role. For 25 years now he’s been dedicated to his work managing business operations, including working as our certified travel specialist and media buyer. He’s evolved into the Inspector Gadget of the office, someone we can’t do without, our go-to man!"
