Block of the Month Information
We are so excited that you love the Blocks of the Month we'll be starting soon. We've had lots of sign ups; so if you're interested in joining the fun, please contact us.
ForeverMore, by Pam Buda, will be a Summer Block of the Month.

Marti has now finished the quilt top, and Cindy is putting the finishing touches on the instructions, so we'll be starting this BOM in June. At last!

Join us if you want a challenge - this project is not for beginners! Since some of the smaller blocks finish at 3 inches, we recommend that you only take on this project if you're a confident intermediate quilter.

Please email us at staff@yankeepridequilts.com, or give us a call at 802/872-9300 if you're interested in signing up for this gorgeous project! For those customers living far away, we're happy to mail each month's package to you for a small additional fee.
UPDATE: Emma, from Windham Fabrics, will be starting soon - the fabric is finally here! It's a 12-month program, made with gorgeous blue and aqua batiks. It will be $26.50/month, plus shipping if we need to mail it.

NEW: The shop sample is complete and hanging near the front door - stop in and see this fabulous quilt!

Judy believes that confident beginners will be able to tackle this quilt. If you've taken Ruth's Machine Piecing class, or if you're a veteran of our Mystery Quilts, you should be able to construct this quilt with little problem.

Store Hours

Monday - Saturday: 10-5
Sunday: closed

These are our new permanent hours at the shop. We know that several of you can't always make it before 5, but you do have an option:

If you can't get to the shop by closing, you can call us during that day and let us know you'd like to stop in just after 5. We will stay open until 5:30 so you have some time to shop.

If you have questions, please give us a call or email us at staff@yankeepridequilts.com.
Thank you!

Special Exhibit
Check out where we began...
Did you know Yankee Pride spent its first 21 years in the Champlain Mill in Winooski? We were a part of the Mill to Mall experience. There's a special exhibit going on at the Mill right now, commemorating its original revitalization. Judy spoke with the organizers (but chose not to appear on camera, of course!) about our experience and the early days of retail there. This exhibit is ongoing through July 29, 2022 - if you're in the Winooski area, make sure you check it out!

New Fabric Arrivals!
Click on the images below for an up-close look at the fabrics
Flowerhouse Basics
from Debbie Beaves
by Robert Kaufman
These are the latest colors to arrive from this popular line. Judy ordered several late last fall, and they flew out the door! It's funny how the simple prints work so well in so many ways. This design is tiny white dots on a richly colored, mottled background - that's it! But we can use them everywhere.
Threads That Bind
from Blackbird Designs
by Moda
What a pretty blue to anchor this line! Shaded flowers let you add more fabrics, with different values, to your project - who wants to use 4 prints when you can use 24? We also love the triple stripe (bottom in photo). Make a fun binding, use it for sashing, or make cool fussy-cut blocks like Flying Geese!

Workshop
from Libs Elliott
by Figo Fabrics
A simple textured fabric will always help your quilt look a little more interesting. People looking at your quilt will catch the texture and move in for a closer look. These four work that way. Subtle texture, that looks like burlap, but in colors that are much more fun!
Batiks
by Hoffman
It seems like we get batiks of some sort almost weekly now! The ones at left are busy and bright - so good as borders! The ones below are great backgrounds. And we all know the good light batiks don't hang around long, so get them before they're gone!
Shades of the Season 12
by Robert Kaufman
We figured we'd save this one for last, since summer's just rolling in and we don't want to think about fall any more than you do! This new batch of fabrics is highlighted with gold sparkle, so think about making a project to show it off! The leaf print with the brown background (bottom left in photo) is a different color combination than we're used to seeing, and we really like it!
Thank you for being our customer, for supporting us, and thank you for continuing to believe in shopping local.
