Wings n' Wheel Coming to St. Augustine Airport June 17th

The Wings n’ Wheels show features airplanes and cars! You can fly in or drive in; this show will be held at the Saint Augustine Airport terminal. The ‘Wings’ portion will show case 20+ modern, vintage, and homebuilt aircrafts -- parked at the terminal along with the planes that will be flying in the day of the event.

The ‘Wheels’ portion will showcase 200+ vehicles including classic and modern cars, trucks, UTV’s, bikes, and more. This show is family friendly and will have 2 different food vendors, a drink vendor and much more. We hope to see everyone out there!!

Vilano Beach Development Update

Several development projects are underway in Vilano Beach. Timelines have recently been updated for the following project:

The Holiday Inn Express coffee shop and the Main Street Diner are projected to open by August 1.

The Hyatt Place is slated to open August 12. Online reservations are being accepted for Labor Day weekend.

The Beachfront Amphitheater and facility project is slated to begin after turtle season.

The North Beach Park parking lot, facilities and playground area are still being tweaked. This will most likely roll out in phases.

Mussallem Park project has been approved. There will be additional parking, improved restrooms, a changing facility, a 3/4 mile walking path through the vegetation and a handicap route that extends from the parking lot to the end of the overlook, with plenty of wheelchair space.

The Breakwater Townhouses have been approved to begin construction. The first 3 unit building is scheduled to break ground in 3-6 months. Construction will take 9-12 months.
