Jams at Jay with
Bandits on the Run
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 • 5PM
Join us for an outdoor concert and picnic in the Jay Meadow with Bandits on the Run, featuring Regina Strayhorn, Sydney Shepherd, and Adrian Blake Enscoe, co-star of the hit Apple TV+ historical comedy "Dickinson"! The popular NYC-based indie-folk-pop band will play their new song "Hurricane," their tribute to "Maya Angelou," and more.
Meanwhile, in the Gardens...
We had our first school visit since the pandemic began and it was a huge success as 65 students and six teachers watched a performance of our play "Striving for Freedom" in the gardens. It was truly magical to see the outdoor classroom we have envisioned all these years filled with children and educators.
Special thanks to trustee Tracy Edwards and her family for donating and installing a host of fruits and vegetables in six of our enormous garden beds. We are already bursting with summer squash, peppers, cucumbers and tiny watermelons. Come by Sunday morning and see the bounty for yourself!
