SUMMER SUNDAY COMMUNITY BOUQUETS
Every Sunday Until After Labor Day

This summer, help us create a community bouquet for our altar each Sunday. Bring with you to the 10am service a single stem, or sprig, of blooms or greens from your garden or the roadside. There will be a single vase in front of the pulpit to collect your floral donation (and a pair of scissors to trim its length if needed). Contribute to the community bouquet every Sunday, one or two Sundays, or not at all; the goal is to create something beautiful, unique, and uncomplicated together-- with no single person having to do too much. Thank you!

NURSERY CARE IS BACK!
Our Nursery is Fully Reopening on July 10!

We are so excited to welcome Jenna Weber back as our Nursery Coordinator! Jenna started as our nursery coordinator back in 2019, and we are delighted that she said "yes" to rejoining our staff team. Over the next couple of weeks, Jenna will be working with RE staff to prepare our Nursery to welcome back children ages 6 months-3 years during worship on Sunday mornings. Stop by this Sunday to welcome Jenna back, register your child for Nursery Care, and to learn more. The Nursery will fully reopen on July 10 during the 10am worship service to care for children ages 6 months through 3 years. Registration required: https://wbuuc.breezechms.com/form/Summer22RE

SUNDAY'S SPECIAL COLLECTION: Afghan Refugee Support
WBUUC has joined several area UU congregations and MUUSJA in supporting refugees who have arrived recently from Afghanistan. We are coordinating our efforts with Lutheran Social Services (LSS). This offering which will be sent to LSS will help the family WBUUC is working with and other refugee families with costs they are incurring getting settled in this new and very different place.

You can donate in 3 ways:
  • Online: http://bit.ly/give-to-wbuuc – indicate Afghan
  • Send a check to WBUUC with Afghan on the memo line.
  • Text to Give with text to 651-615-5551 and the “amount Afghan" (For example, if you want to give $25, put this in the text: 25 Afghan)
