This event is operated by The Frank Gladd American Legion Post 20. It is the epitome of community involvement and has great economic impact to our community. The Fort Gibson Sweet Corn Festival is the chief source of funding for the Post and is responsible for 90% of the funding of our programs

The Legionnaires at Frank Gladd American Legion Post 20 encourage all Legionnaires and their families to join them in a weekend of fun and mirth that includes Corn E. Cobb's Corn Shucking Contest on Friday Night and his Corn Eating Contest on Saturday Night. Great Local Music Talent over 100 vendors with Food and Drinks and Goods Galore. Come Join Us at Central Market for World Famous Statch Succotash prepared by a World Renowned Succotash Chef and some of the Best Corn on the Cob you will ever eat. Don't forget the water slides for the kids.

Its all here right inside of the Historic Downtown District of Fort Gibson, "The Oldest Town in Oklahoma. Its a short drive from anywhere in Oklahoma , Don't Be a Stranger and Come See Us this Week End at the 14th Annual Fort Gibson Sweet Corn Festival.
