Important Dates:
- July 15 - Deadline for teams to have a minimum roster (6 players)
- Aug 6 (5.0, 6.5, 8.5) / Aug 13 (5.5, 7.5, 9.5) - Season Begins
- Oct 14 (5.0, 6.5, 8.5) / Oct 21 (5.5, 7.5, 9.5) - Season Ends
- Add players to your roster anytime during the season (Max 15 players)
- State Championships (Wilmington)
- Nov 2-5 for levels 5.0, 6.5, and 8.5
- Nov 9-12 for levels 5.5, 7.5, and 9.5
Cost: $27 per player
What is COMBO? Players team up with a doubles partner such that their combined NTRP ratings do not exceed the team level on which they are playing. There is a maximum NTRP for players, but there is NO minimum. For example, on a 7.5 team, the maximum NTRP of any player is 4.0, but a team could play any combination of 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, or 4.0 players as long as the combined NTRPs do not exceed 7.5. So 4.0/3.5. 3.5/3.5, 4.0/3.0, 3.5/3.0, 3.0/3.0, etc. For the best competition, teams should try to make combinations as close to the team level as possible.
Teams play 3 lines of doubles. Men's and Women's divisions at all age levels are available (18+, 40+, 55+, & 65+). Winning local teams advance to a State Championship, with a chance of advancing to the Sectional Championship.
