Hugh Keeton from WLOX visited us on Tuesday, July 11, to cover the Rec Department summer classes we put on this summer. He interviewed Lorren West, our executive director, and also interviewed a few of the kids to ask them about their experiences at camp this summer. They all had wonderful things to say about the MSMC! We were glad to be able to host the kids this summer. The segment aired on WLOX during the 10 o'clock news on Monday, the 17.

This week at camp, the younger kids learned about octopuses and created their own, and the older kids created and tested their own paddlewheels!

This past Tuesday's class was about maritime art! The kids created a maritime mural together as a wrap up for the Rec Class summer camp this July. We enjoyed having them throughout June and July!
