Louis M. Weiner
AACR

Greetings from New Orleans. I am at the AACR meeting, trying to lay low a bit, but I have specific responsibilities to which I must attend. Louisiana has a remarkably low rate of COVID-19 infections, but there are a lot of people here from around the country, and a few from around the world. Everyone must show proof of vaccination; masks are optional — though I am wearing one most of the time when not eating or speaking from a podium.

News & Announcements
Georgetown Indoor Mask Policy Reinstated
In response to a significant increase in COVID-19 cases on the main and medical center campuses, the University has temporarily reinstated an indoor mask requirement. Until further notice, masks are required to be worn indoors except when in a personal residence, private office or when actively eating or drinking. Wearing a properly fitting high-quality mask (e.g., N95, KN95), which are available for free on campus, is strongly recommended. Wearing masks when attending indoor social gatherings and events off campus is also strongly recommended. Download a printable “Masks Required” sign to hang in your area.
