Pro-Life Rabbis Participate In National Day of Repentance Event!
✡︎ Shalom & Good Day ✡︎

The Supreme Court of the United States scheduled oral arguments for the Dobbs case on December 1, 2021 at 10:00 am ET. The day's events include rallies on the steps of the Court, watch parties, prayer vigils, and dinners.

The Justice Foundation's Allan Parker, Esq., who filed our Amicus brief for the case, invited the Jewish Pro-Life Foundation to participate in a 40 hour prayer marathon event. We are honored that Rabbi Chananya Weissman, Rabbi Menashe Bovit and Rabbi Shlomo Nachman will represent us during the 1:00 pm ET hour, each taking about 15 minutes to share authentic Jewish teachings on repentance and offering prayers to HaShem to heal our country and end the evil of abortion.

The event website:
The National Day of Repentance Regarding Abortion

On the home page Mr. Parker states, "As our nation looks on at the proceedings at the Supreme Court and the landmark abortion case of Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health, unity among those who advocate for life is at an all-time high. We come before our Father in humility and repentance on this solemn day, December 1st, the day of the oral arguments on this Supreme Court case. It will not only affect the state of life in the United States, it will affect pro-life policies across the globe."

The event will be live streamed by the Justice Foundation. I will let you know the social media page when I get it. I'll be sending out links to the recording and we will watch it at our December Monthly Mishpacha meeting on December 5th.

Because we filed an Amicus brief, Alliance Defending Freedom invited us to attend a dinner they are hosting the evening of December 1st in DC. While we earnestly want to represent Judaism amidst all the other pro-life groups who filed briefs, it is very unlikely that we can make the trip. We truly appreciate the invitation.

In lieu of a trip to Washington DC to attend the dinner, I've requested a watch party kit from the Mississippi Attorney General's website. We'd like to open up our zoom room at 8:45 am ET that day to watch the rally speakers and hear the audio of the court proceedings. I'll send a notification for sign up later in the week.

May there be abundant peace from Heaven, and good life upon us and upon all Israel. Amen.

Recent thoughts from Kavshiel, the angel who conquers evil,
During our November Monthly Mishpacha, we watched a short video of a respected rabbi who objects to reversing Roe and any legal limits on abortion. I just had to respond in this blog!

It's not only Jewish institutions that have been infiltrated and corrupted by death culture ideology. Catholics face growing threats to the integrity of their institutions, too. We can learn from these courageous students how to stand for life against those in our own faith who oppose it.

Do you have a contact at a campus Hillel? We need volunteers to bring our message to Jewish young adults, who are thoroughly immersed in the abortion culture and need access to life saving and healing resources and information. If you do know someone, please let us know and we will provide you with literature. Thank you.
Monthly Mishpacha
Our December Monthly Mishpacha will be December, 5th at 11 am ET. We plan to show Rabbi Weissman, Rabbi Bovit, and Rabbi Nachman in the National Day of Remembrance prayer vigil. Then, we will enjoy private conversation and connection.

Also, to maintain safety and confidentiality, I will receive an email confirmation of each registration so I know who to expect. If you want to invite someone, please send them the registration link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
