SENIORS@GRACE - Thursday, July 27
Are you a cookie lover? Do you need a good excuse to bake a batch of cookies and share? If you answer yes to either question then join us on Thursday July 27 for our Cookie baking challenge.
While this is a Seniors@Grace event anyone is invited to come and share in the fun. We meet at 11:30 am with lunch at noon. While the original plan was to just eat just cookies and ice cream we decided sliders and chips might be a good idea first. So lunch followed by eating cookies to decide the best Grace cookie baker.
If you plan to bake please make at least 3 dozen cookies. Please RSVP to Annie Laurie Wheat by July 25 to secure your spot as a baker or a cookie eating judge!  Come join in the fun. Contact information: annielauriewheat@gmail.com or 803 517-0626 (cell) or 803 980-1834 (home)
Like to sing? Enjoy being with wonderful people?

Your Giving in Action

At the June meeting, Council voted to send $5,000 of the remaining 2022 surplus to our mission partner, South Carolina Lutheran Retreat Centers.

SCLRC is in the midst of a Capital Campaign to build their first Chapel and to install a new swimming pool. Your giving will help make these improvements possible and will impact the faith formation of all who visit Camp Kinard! To learn more about this project, click HERE.

Thank you for your support!
In the sure and certain hope of the resurrection, our prayers enfold ShirLee Alfors, her daughter Suzanne, and all their family as they mourn the loss of ShirLee's son, Stephen.

Dear Friends at Grace,

Thank you for your generous support and encouragement for the Tanzania mission trip. By the time you read this our team will be on their way. We ask for your continued prayers as we travel and serve.

Dear Church Family,

Thank you for my Lutheridge scholarship this summer. I really enjoyed learning more about my faith while I was at camp. My camp theme was “Hammock Hangout” and my cabin group slept in the platform tents. I had the same counselor two summers in a row which was cool. I enjoyed doing the challenge tower and the high ropes course in Asheville. All in all, I'm really glad I was able to go to Lutheridge this summer and I look forward to going again next year.

Sincerely,
Cameron Litzinger
Dear Grace Family,

I just wanted to send a note of appreciation for all the prayers. I know they made a huge difference in my recovery.

Grace Member / Friend Memories
One of the ways we will be celebrating the rich history of Grace this year is to hear about its impact on the lives of its
members.

These do not need to be very long - even a single paragraph would be fine. Simply share with us your perspective, the way your story and Grace's story came together, and we will publish these remembrances in these Grace Notes publications throughout the year.
Email your memories to 100years@gracerockhill.com

Centennial Temple Talks

As a part of Grace's 100th Anniversary Celebration, we will share a Temple Talk highlighting Grace's history through the decades on the first Sunday of each month, from March through December.

Communion, Anyone?

As you may have noticed, we are sending Home Communion out to those who wish to receive the sacrament but cannot easily attend worship on Sunday mornings. Would you like to receive Communion in this way? Do you know someone who might? Please let the Church Office know, so we can meet these needs and extend God's Grace in this way!
Grace Craft Group

Meets on Tuesdays from 11am - 1pm in room 107. This group is for crafters of any skill level and any craft, with the group’s purpose to craft items that will be donated to different organizations in need of those items.
