Custom Designed and Escorted Quilt Tours
Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and fun filled new years eve. Russ and I had a busy christmas with our kids and their families, starting on Christmas eve and ending on boxing day. By December 27th we were wiped out and spent the day sleeping and watching movies. It is always a great time when we get together.
I find myself on New Years Eve looking back on the year and thinking about the loved ones that we had lost, and looking forward to the new adventures in the next year.
This winter I am so looking forward to spending time with my sewing machine! We have decided that we are not going anywhere until my first tour. I really need to sew, and sew and sew. My goals this winter are to learn how to thread paint and take a serious class in Landscape quilts.
So I have registered for a thread painting class with Nancy Prince. It is on Zoom and she will answer any questions by email. I think Zoom is the best thing that came out of covid. I can now take classes and not leave my sewing room! It is perfect!
Once I return home from Italy, we will be going north for the summer and I will work from there until fall. Fishing will be my activity for the day as long as it is not raining.
I am looking forward to my upcoming tours that I have planned as well. I love meeting new quilters and seeing repeating clients. I have learnt so many tecniques over the years.
I hope everyone has a wonderful 2024!
The Enchanting Italy Quilt tour

Have you ever experienced Venice, with the many canals and 391 bridges? Take a gondola ride on one of the canals?
May, 2024 I will be having a tour in Northern Italy. We will start out with 3 days in Venice. A local tour guide will give us a tour of this beautiful city, explaining all the secrets of Venice. Then we will be off to Burano for a visit to a glass blowing factory and Murano for a lace making class.
Some of the highlights will be a food tour in Bologna, quilt school in Florence, 3 nights in a villa in Tuscany for you to enjoy. There will be a cooking class, visit a silk manufacturer and museum plus many more places we visit.
This tour is a definite go!

I have group space booked on this cruise starting in Paris to Normandy then back to Paris on the Seine River.

This is not a quilt cruise, it is for everyone.

Paducah Quilt Tour
April 21-28, 2024
I have changed this tour to Paducah, which lowered the cost, hoping to have more people sign up. I still need a few more to make this go. So please if you would like to book, go to my website and fill out the booking form. Once I have received the booking form I will wait to call for the deposit until I am close to the number I need. I need to reach the number by January 10, 2024.
In April we will be off to the Paducah Quilt Show! I honestly think this is the best quilt show, that I have ever attended.
We will enjoy 3 days at the Paducah Quilt Show, tour by Quilt Man, himself, visit the National Quilt Museum and a few quilt shops.
The reason for 3 days at this show is because it is huge! It takes 2 days just to get through all the quilts and booths. Then I find you need another day to see anything you need to see or purchase that you thought of later.
