Congregational Covered Dish Picnic: May 21

Gather with your Sardis family for a congregational covered dish picnic on May 21! We'll meet on the South Lawn at noon (or in the Fellowship Hall if it rains) to enjoy a covered dish picnic and outdoor games. Bring your lawn chairs and a side dish or dessert to share (please be mindful of allergies and refrain from using peanuts or tree nuts).

Opportunities to Serve

Families Forward Charlotte Childcare Volunteers

Want to have some fun? Join other Sardis members on Tuesday, May 23, 5:30 PM-8:30 PM, at the Families Forward Charlotte Program Center. While parents attend an educational workshop we will provide “child watch”. We will work under the supervision of a childcare professional. There is a one-time $19 fee for a background check. It’s a great opportunity to connect with delightful children! Contact Vicky Hovis for more information. Click here to sign up.

Volunteer in the Nursery

The nursery is open for both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services and we need your help to keep it running smoothly! We're so excited about our new nursery location, the former Resource Room next to the Adult Library, and hope that you'll check it out! Sign up to volunteer here! Contact Sarah Dianne Jones with any questions.

Get Connected With Opportunities to Share Your Gifts at Sardis

How can you use your gifts to change lives through ministry at Sardis? Just fill out the Sardis Engagement Form to let us know about your talents and interests. Filling out the form does not mean you've made a commitment. When you turn in your form your selections will be entered into our database and you will be contacted when an opportunity that matches your talents and interests comes up! Let's fulfill the mission of Sardis by connecting you with opportunities to praise, learn, love, serve, share, and witness.
