Faith, Food & Fellowship this Wednesday 7/19 at 6:30pm. All are welcome to join us for food, fellowship and fun! This program meets on the third Wednesday of each month for a meal, fellowship, and faith based activities. You won't want to miss this! ECA Member Samantha Wells Ministry in Greece: Giving Opportunity! Samantha Wells has been attending ECA since March of this year, and is currently fundraising to work with teenage refugee girls in Athens, Greece, for the next two years. She will be helping with an art class, where the girls can build relationships and use art as an emotional outlet for the trauma they’ve lived through, as well as the stress of their current, still in limbo situation. Volunteer opportunity: 7/21 Emmaus House Needs You! ECA will be providing a cookout for the students completing the summer program at Freedom School, a part of Emmaus House (located in Atlanta, behind the old Ted Turner stadium) on Friday, July 21. Father Paul on Sabbatical
Fr. Paul will be away during the months of June, July, and August on a well-deserved sabbatical for rest and refreshment. He will return with us on Sunday September 10th. The Rev. Spotlight on Ministry: Servant Ministry!
July's spotlight is on Servant Ministries, the hands and feet of Christ! This ministry includes 'Cards from the Heart' our card mailing ministry, 'Meal Preppers', our meal ministry, 'Caregivers Group', a support group for caretakers, 'Journeys Group', a support group for those dealing with grief, loss or any difficult life challenge, 'Holly Haulers', our transportation ministry, 'Eucharistic Visits', and more!
