Suzanne's Story

Suzanne Kilgore has been selected as the Champion of Recovery because of drive and leadership in recovery. She has been resilient and has overcome many challenges, and now she serves her recovery community on a daily basis with passion and empathy.We are proud to have her as an active member of the Rockdale County Accountability Team and the Recovery Community.

CHAMPION OF CHANGE

CAROLYN PEACOCK

We are proud to announce this month's Champion of Change is Carolyn Peacock, Rockdale County Family Treatment Court Family Advocate. Carolyn is a passionate partner, collaborator and supporter of families in the recovery community. If you know even a little about Carolyn, you know that she is committed to serving and giving back to the Rockdale community. Carolyn serves on the board for NAMI in Rockdale and Newton Counties, she is an active member of the Rockdale Drug Free Coalition and she regularly volunteers at her local community food bank.

We would like to thank Carolyn for her continued efforts to supporting families and serving our most vulnerable populations and that is why she is this months Champion of Change! Thank you Carolyn from us all.

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Y'all it's that time again our second annual (All Recovery Summerfest) fundraiser for the (Gwinnett Room) the date is July 16th from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. also we will be renting out space to recovery business owners in the parking lot for $50 bucks to set up and sell your product to the recovery community. Also headlining the show (Self Will Run) will be performing live.

GRIT & GRACE RCO

As we continue to intentionally grow in our recovery we invite you to our daily Recovery Oriented zoom meetings in hopes that our recovery community will also grow in numbers. We know that it is our duty to carry the recovery message to those that still suffer. If you or a loved one needs the support of a recovery community, we meet every weekday at 11am and 6pm and again on Saturdays at 6pm.
