Tuesday, July 11 | Drop-In Discussion: What is neo-conservatism?
We sometimes read about the "neo-conservative" war party in the U.S. government. Who are these people and what do they believe? Phil Ebersole will lead a discussion. Drop-in Discussions meet via Zoom on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. Look on the First Universalist homepage for details and a link, or click the Zoom meeting link in this blurb title!
Pride Parade Sign-up!
The Rochester Pride Parade is July 15. Sign-up at pride@uuroc.org. Details for times and parking for marchers and lawn chair cheering section will be sent to folks who sign up.
Summer MOCHA Update!
Although MOCHA takes a break during the summer months, we still would like to offer the opportunity for refreshments and conversation after services. Here’s the plan: We will have cold beverages and some small treats available to be put out. There will NOT be coffee. If you sign up, before the service, you will need make up a pitcher of ice tea or lemonade and put it and a pitcher of water in the fridge. There would be a treat of some sort to put out, along with napkins. After refreshments, you will need to clean up. There is a signup sheet for each summer Sunday on the refreshment table. If you would be willing, please sign up to help!
