Camden County Awarded $199,000 First Responders Supplement Grant
The Camden County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce that it is a recipient of a $199,125.50 Georgia Public Safety Officials and First Responders Supplement Grant distributed by the Georgia Office of Planning and Budget.

“Our dedicated first responders and public safety officials are a valuable asset to our community,” said Chairman Gary Blount. “We are pleased to be able to recognize their efforts.”

Tina Ingles Achieves Georgia Fire Chief Certification

The Camden County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce that Camden County Fire Rescue (CCFR) Battalion Chief Tina Ingles has achieved Georgia Fire Chief Certification from the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs.

“This is an important achievement and recognition for Chief Ingles,” said CCFR Chief Terry Smith. “Her certification demonstrates her professionalism and commitment to qualified leadership in the fire service.”

April 5, 2022 - Board of Commissioners Meeting
The Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, April 5, 2022. The meeting will be available to view live online.

April 7, 2022 - Board of Commissioners Work Session
The Camden County Board of Commissioners will hold a work session at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Realizing the Spaceport Vision through Private Investment - presented by Spearhead Capital Advisors, LLC.


All Board of County Commissioner Regular Meetings, Special Called Meetings, Work Sessions and Public Hearings are open to the public. Work Sessions do not feature a Public Comments section.

Voter Registration Deadline
The deadline to register to vote in the May 24, 2022, General Election, Nonpartisan General Election, and Special Election is April 25, 2022.

Two Rivers Gun Range New Hours
Beginning April 5, 2022
Beginning on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, Two Rivers Gun Range will be open one hour later each evening. We will close Tuesday-Sunday at 7:00 p.m. and our opening hours will remain the same.

Please note that the Pistol Range will close at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays only. This allows an opportunity for our 4-H BB Club to practice.
