Physical Bear Cards Now Available

Year II and Year III MD students can now pick up a physical bear card at no cost. These bear cards are for identification purposes only and will not replace the electronic version you currently have. Students are not required to pick up their physical card, but some population health locations may require second-year students use their bear card as their ID badge. Each student will need to pick up their own card in person from their campus academic affairs office. If your card is misplaced or stolen, you will have to pay a fee to have it replaced.

Please direct questions about picking up your bear card to

Candis Whitfield (Macon), Sherri Kelly (Savannah), or Janelle Hollis (Columbus)

Research Opportunity

A recent MUSM grad, Andrew Hearn, MD is currently working on a wellness systematic review project and is looking for students to assist in his research. The study focuses on answering the question "what wellness interventions for medical students, residents, and fellows actually work?" Currently, they are looking for help extracting the data from the project screening. Students will be properly trained in extraction techniques and listed as an author for any future medical journal the findings are submitted to, provided you meet the minimum authorship requirements. Contact Andrew Hearn if you are interested.
