Gates of Lodore

The Green and Yampa Rivers and their canyons cut through Dinosaur National Monument. These rivers offer some of the best whitewater experiences in the Western United States, and because of their strict management, also offer excellent outdoor experiences, with pristine beaches, outstanding hikes and exciting rapids. The season is short, and the permits are few. Book this trip as soon as possible to make sure that you don't miss your opportunity to raft here.

Cataract Canyon

on the Colorado River

Cataract Canyon, through Canyonlands National Park, offers some of the most exciting whitwater in the Western United States. If you are looking for a big whitewater experience, look at dates between the last two weeks of May and the first two weeks of June. If you want to experience the beauty of Cataract Canyon with cooler temperatures, look for a trip in September.

Desolation Canyon on the Green River

Desolation Canyon is full of history, both ancient and more modern. This stretch of the Green River is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is thought to be one of the most remote places in the contiguous United States.

Many different people have left their mark upon this place, but we encourage our guests to responsibly take only photos and leave only footprints.

The Class II and III rapids in Desolation Canyon make this river stretch perfect for those who are looking for a milder whitewater stretch with great hikes, big sandy beaches and star-filled night skies.

The River offers great opportunities to reconnect with old friends, get together with family or just get away from it all.

There are options for solo travelers, family groups, friend groups, business groups and more.

The advantages of a custom trip include being able to choose your River stretch, your dates, your travel companions, your itinerary, your menu, your service level and your crew. We take the time to fine the perfect fit for your vacation, with helpful suggestions that will guide you to the best possible rafting vacation.

Call and ask how we can build a trip that fits your needs.
