Remembering Our Veterans

The City of San Gabriel would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every veteran for their sacrifice and for the sacrifice of their families. On November 11, we honor those who served and continue to serve our great nation. It is a day of remembrance and tribute.

Register for the Turkey Trot

There is still time to sign up for the 45th Annual Turkey Trot on November 19.

The event will begin at 6:00 a.m. at Vincent Lugo Park and participants can sign up for a 10K run, a 5K run, or a 5K walk. There will also be a 1K kids run. Every participant will receive a finisher medal, a t-shirt, and refreshments.

Go Human Demonstrations for Safer Crosswalks

The City of San Gabriel, in conjunction with ActiveSGV, is working on a Safe Routes to School Plan and invites the public to join ActiveSGV during their demonstrations for crosswalk improvements.

Below are the dates and times of the demonstrations:

• Thursday, November 17 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Manley Drive and Fisk Avenue
• Saturday, November 19 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. during the Turkey Trot
