Positive COVID Case - 1st Grade Class

Dear first grade families,

We are writing to let you know that a 1st grade student, who has a mild cough and some congestion, has tested positive for COVID-19 today, 6/6. The student was last in school on Friday, 3rd June,

Based on this timing, the first grade class is on the border of what is considered a positive exposure. With COVID circulating in the class, we recommend testing again on Weds 9th June, prior to attending school.

If your child has tested positive for COVID within 90 days they do not need to test, unless they develop any possible symptoms. Symptomatic individuals, regardless of vaccination status, or recent infection, should remain home and if positive or not tested, stay home and isolate for 5 days.

Masking - students/teacher should wear a mask around others for 10 days.

If you have any questions, please contact Covid Confidential

Thank you,
