Sunapee Happenings
At this time of year, it’s easy to get inspired… just step out into the garden and see what’s growing. A shady spot in the garden is the perfect place to relax and indulge in a good “summer read”.

This week we recognize the abundance of great libraries and beautiful gardens that enhance our hometowns.

In Sunapee Harbor you will find gardens, designed, planted and tended for the past three decades by the Sunapee Gardeners.

The Newbury Beautification Committee and the New London Garden Club similarly beautify their communities with resplendent flowers.

“Thanks” to the gardening volunteers for bringing beauty and joy to all who pass by!
Each community also benefits from the vast resources offered by their libraries. In the summertime, there are summer reading programs and activities to engage everyone from toddlers to teens and adults.

Independence Day was celebrated with music, parades and fireworks all around the lake!
