Happy St. Patrick's Day Season from the Center for Irish Music!

Thanks to everyone who tuned in and made a contribution to Éigse CIM, A Gaela Event this past Saturday. If you missed it, it's not too late to watch the show, or make a donation.

March is already here, and our students are preparing for St. Patrick's Day performances and the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil music competition, coming up on the weekend of May 13-15th. Stay tuned for information and stories in the coming weeks. Don't forget about the "duets & trios night" on April 29th - part of the preparation for the fleadh!

You might remember the video collaboration of Tony Doherty's Waltz that our advanced youth ensembles did with the Traditional Arts Partnership, a music school in Armagh (Ireland) last spring. We are thrilled to announce that some of TAP's teachers and administrators have secured funding to come to Minnesota during Irish Arts Week (IAW), with some delegates from Aonach Mhacha! As part of the IAW events, CIM will be collaborating with TAP and the Sullivan Clan for a concert on Friday, April 22nd at the Celtic Junction Arts Center. Get your tickets now.

It's a busy month for all of us, so be sure to take a look at the performance calendar at the bottom of this newsletter.
