The highly anticipated Planet Pride Festival will be returning to Avant Gardner in Brooklyn, New York, this Saturday, June 24. Prepare for an unforgettable 12-hour celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, featuring an electrifying lineup of performances across six parties and three stages.

In a thrilling update, Icona Pop has been announced as a surprise performer for the festival, joining the already star-studded lineup. Renowned for their infectious hits and captivating stage presence, Icona Pop is set to deliver a show-stopping performance that will leave audiences in awe. Additionally, the excitement continues to build as more surprise performers are yet to be announced, promising additional surprises and unforgettable moments throughout the event.

Following the immense success of last year's festival, which became a highlight of 2022's New York Pride, the organizers, Jake Resnicow and Ty Sunderland, are dedicated to creating an even bigger and better celebration of LGBTQ+ pride this year.

About Jake Resnicow:

Jake Resnicow is a prominent promoter in the LGBTQ+ space and was recognized as one of the OUT100 Most Influential LGBTQ People of the Year. His Pride Festivals in New York, Miami, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles are renowned spectacles, and he has organized prestigious fundraising events that have raised over $30 million for various organizations. Resnicow's recent record-breaking WorldPride event at Javits Center raised over $500,000 for charity.

About Ty Sunderland:

Ty Sunderland is an NYC-based DJ and producer. Best known for his LGBTQIA+ events that saw over 40 thousand guests in 2022; such Devil's Playground at Webster Hall featuring special guests such as Ava Max, Natasha Bedingfield and Slayyyter, Ty Tea at 3 Dollar Bill, the Gayflower boat party series and NY’s largest pride event Planet Pride at Brooklyn Mirage with acts like Galantis and Gorgon City.

Ty’s DJ’d A-List events such as Gigi Hadid’s Birthday, Vice President Kamala Harris' Pride Event, Moschino’s Met Gala After Party, and Neiman Marcus opening party alongside Charli XCX and Liza Manelli. He has also performed at Coachella, Sydney World Pride and opened for Years & Years, Trixie Mattel, MAX, Kim Petras, Lizzo and more
