Matt Stephens has lived in 3 different places. Born in Marquette, Michigan, before moving to Tampa, Florida, and finally relocating to SE Michigan which has been home since 1988. He has worked extensively in the automotive and construction industries before joining Sandler Training at Gerry Weinberg & Associates in 2010.
Matt joined Sandler Training as a client in 2002 where he mentored under the company’s founder Gerry Weinberg until joining the firm. Matt credits Sandler to his success in sales, leadership, his positive attitude and most importantly as a father/ Husband.
Now an accomplished partner with Gerry Weinberg & Associates, he has been the recipient of numerous awards for his sales production, training, consulting and coaching. He has helped companies develop sales processes, and strategic plans which allow them to obtain more qualified prospects/ opportunities in a very short time.
His wife of 24 years, four children and 3 Labradors are active in the Lake Orion community along with him, where they may be found running, biking or swimming on a regular basis.
Matt inspires everyone around him to stretch outside of their comfort zones whether it’s personally or professionally.
