Earlier this month, Mind-Builders' esteemed piano and vocal instructor, Robin Small, along with her talented son, Amir Small, had the incredible opportunity to perform in the presence of the legendary singer-songwriter, Roberta Flack, at her own home! Their heartfelt performance resonated deeply with her, and she was so enamored by their talent that she extended a gracious invitation for Robin and Amir to return for more captivating melodies.
Congratulations Robin and Amir! You both are true testaments to the power of music and the remarkable connections they foster.

We're teaming up with The Bronx Community Foundation (BxCF), the first and only community foundation in the bronx, to host a series of neighborhood conversations this summer to design a brighter future for all Bronxites!

Did you know that Mind-Builders received funding from Dance/NYC to provide subsidized dance rehearsal space? The funding allows us to provide $5/hr private studio space! We believe this is an amazing opportunity for dancers in our community to have a safe, comfortable and most importantly, affordable space to practice their forms of movement. So if you know anyone that can benefit from this, please share this information with them. We really want our community to take advantage of this opportunity.
