Clothing Boutique
Welcome to our new member, Olive + Birch Boutique - Oconto Falls! A ribbon cutting was held Oct. 25 at their new location, 411 E. Highland Drive, Suite A, between Piggly Wiggly and True Value. This is Olive + Birch's third location in Oconto County, joining Oconto and Lakewood.

What makes Oconto Falls great? The Chamber is looking for original photos of the Oconto Falls and surrounding areas. Winners earn $25 in Chamber Bucks and the opportunity to see their photo in the Chamber's future marketing material. Contest ends Nov. 30.
Accepting Nominations
The Chamber is seeking people to serve on its Board of Directors. The board consists of 5-7 Chamber members who meet monthly and assist with a variety of projects. Board terms begin Jan. 1 and last one year. Nominations are due Nov. 10 via email.

Employer Award for Piggly Wiggly
Bryce Iverson, owner of Iverson’s Piggly Wiggly of Oconto Falls, was awarded the Exemplary Employer Award from the State of Wisconsin – Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).
Each October, during National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Wisconsin Workforce Development Area (WDA) 5 chooses one award winner from a 10-county area. 
No Girl Without
Bellin Health is running a health campaign called No Girl Without to collect female hygiene products to distribute to middle & high schools in the area. Donations will be accepted until Friday, Nov. 11, and can be dropped off at Hometown Veterinary Clinic, Piggly Wiggly, Bellin Health Oconto Falls, and Oconto Falls High School.
75th Anniversary Sale
True Value's 75th Anniversary Sale is Nov. 11-13 at 415 E. Highland Drive, Oconto Falls. Register to win a Blackstone grill or smokeless fire pit. Veterans receive a free gift on Friday. Saturday is Demo and Sample Day from 10am-2pm. Sunday is a tailgate party, from 11am-2pm. Stop in for free burgers, hotdogs, and s’mores. All donations go to Kingdom Come.
Nailed It! Pet Portrait
Oconto Area Humane Society is sponsoring a Nailed It! Pet Portraits fundraiser until Nov. 30. OAHS is accepting orders for pet portraits to be hand-painted by shelter volunteers and board members for a $25 donation each. Portraits can be picked up at OAHS or mailed for a $5 fee.

Waddle on Main is Dec. 1 Downtown
Waddle on Main will take place from 3-7pm Thursday, Dec. 1, on Main Street in Oconto Falls. Search for penguins inside Main Street businesses for an opportunity to win prizes. Grab dinner at the food truck. Enjoy wagon rides, cookie decorating, pictures with Santa, strolling carolers, gingerbread creations, a s’mores station, and hot cocoa booth. 

One-Act Play
OFHS Drama Team presents “Code 40: Verona,” a one-act play by Dwayne Yancey, at 7pm Friday, Nov. 11, at the Falls Area Performing Arts Center, 240 N. Farm Road, Oconto Falls. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door.
White Christmas
Abrams Spotlight Productions Inc. will present “White Christmas” Dec. 1-4 and 8-11.
Come and experience a beloved Christmas classic at the local community theater.

Avenue of Lights
The Avenue of Lights begins with a lighting ceremony at the East Side Beach at 6pm Saturday, Nov. 26, sponsored by the Oconto Falls Lioness Club. Enjoy live music, cookies, hot chocolate, and visits with Santa. 
Fat Bike Ride
Back for a second year in row is the Avenue of Lights Fat Bike Ride. Riders should meet at Robb and Kelly Brabant’s on Caldwell Avenue at 4pm for a casual 10-mile ride through the trails and streets of Oconto Falls.
ASPI Auction
The Abrams Spotlight Productions Inc. online auction starts Dec. 8.
This fundraiser helps offset overhead costs and raises funds for a new roof. If your business wants great exposure and an opportunity to support the arts, make a donation!

Here's what the Chamber has been up to:
  • Developing a trail system with new and renovated paths
  • Hosting the annual Run for the Trails event
  • Supporting the pickleball court resurfacing project and dog park construction
  • Offering a free concert series, “Music by the River”
  • Partnering with local organizations for the community health and safety expo
  • Sponsoring the city’s welcome signs, American flag project, Highway 22 project, Leadership Oconto County
  • Getting signage for ATV/UTV/Fat Tire Bike trails, points of interest
  • Painting the smokestack at ST Paper
  • Adding new bike racks to public locations
