The CAC is seeking two bilingual Family Advocates. Critical members of our Mental Health team, our Family Advocates offer education, support, advocacy, and referrals for necessary services in order to help children and families heal after violence and abuse.


One of the Family Advocates will be English/Spanish Family Advocate and the preferred languages for the second position are Haitian Creole, Chinese, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole.

May Highlight


During the recent National Children's Alliance Leadership Conference in Washington DC, Associate Director Beth Bouchard (pictured), Training Program Manager Erica Chepulis, and SEEN Program Manager Sheelah Gobar headed to Capitol Hill to meet with staffers from the offices of Massachusetts Representative Ayanna PressleyRepresentative Stephen F. Lynch, and Senator Edward J. Markey. In these advocacy meetings they provided direct updates and information on how critical federal resources are in serving the children and families of Suffolk County.

Staff Spotlight


Sam Heller is the CAC's first-ever Data Analyst. Sam oversees the CAC’s data tracking, monitoring, and program evaluation processes, designs and implements strategies to assess and enhance the data collection and outcome measurement needs of the CAC, and maintains data collection quality assurance. As a graduate student, Sam worked as a research assistant studying youth experiences of abuse and intimate partner violence. This experience helped prepare him to oversee and enhance the CAC's data collection and program evaluation processes.

Upcoming Event

Join us on August 13 at the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of New England's 53rd Chinatown August Moon Festival. We're excited to share resources at this day-long event filled with cultural performances (including lion dancing, Chinese music and singing, traditional folk dance, and martial arts) as well as Chinese calligraphy, arts and crafts, and various vendors of Chinese food and merchandise.
