Net Positive Water Impact
Marking World Water Day on March 22nd, the CEO Water Mandate highlighted the potential of the Net Positive Water Impact (NPWI) concept. Pursuing NPWI contributes toward reducing water stress in its three dimensions –availability, quality, and accessibility. Learn more about NPWI and read testimonies from companies already committed to the NPWI ambition.
Private sector action on water, sanitation and hygiene is bringing needed solutions to groundwater issues. Read from WASH4Work’s Senior Advisor, Cheryl Hicks, as she shares her eye-opening experiences to some of the most vulnerable communities in this World Water Day themed article on the role of the private sector in addressing WASH vulnerabilities.
Assess and Boost Your Resilience
Join us on 7 April for a deep dive session led by the CEO Water Mandate, an initiative of the UN Global Compact and Pacific Institute, to learn about the WRAF (Water Resilience Assessment Framework), the first globally accepted framework to support a multi-stakeholder approach to building water resilience for your business.

NPWI is a journey to increase basin resilience by ensuring that company’s contributions continually exceed impacts on water stress in the same region. Find out more about NPWI, a concept adopted by the UN Global Compact SDG 6 Ambition as the cornerstone to accelerate companies’ positive impact on SDG 6 targets.
