On Tuesday,

it's your choice.

The Party of YES or the

Party of NO?

Time and again with their words and their votes, Republicans have shown us they are the Party of NO...

• NO to economic growth, fiscal

responsibility and tax relief

• NO to Social Security

• NO to funding our police

• NO to funding our schools

• NO to fighting climate change

• NO to reproductive freedom

• NO to gun safety

Who supports our schools?

For years Republicans kicked the can down the road when it came to investing in the public schools that underpin our property values.

The result? Collapsing ceilings. Flooding. Contaminated playing fields. High school bleachers closed for years. Central Middle School deemed unsafe for human occupancy.

Instead of investing in our schools, local Republicans embraced the national culture wars, attacking our teachers and school administrators over masks, vaccines, books and the curriculum.

Who supports jobs, the economy and affordability?

Republicans keep complaining about affordability, yet they voted NO on every opportunity to help residents struggling with the cost of living. They have promised to shut down the government in order to slash Social Security and Medicare for hard-working Americans.

Crime and public safety

Instead of voting for public safety, Republicans voted against funding for our police and against gun safety laws. Their elimination of police pensions for new officers in Greenwich has stymied our ability to recruit qualified candidates just as dozens of officers are due to retire.

Faced with facts about the reduction in crime, Republicans are resorting to fearmongering to make voters feel unsafe and suing to overturn our assault weapon ban. Assault rifles are the weapon of choice for school shooters.

Protecting our planet, our health and our home values

Instead of voting to protect our planet by reducing greenhouse gasses, improving air quality and protecting our home values, they chose to deny climate science, and vote against climate change action.

Protecting rights and freedom

Instead of supporting reproductive freedom, they have repeatedly introduced amendments to restrict abortion rights in Connecticut.

Instead of voting to make it easier for citizens to exercise their voting rights, they have chosen to embrace election deniers and claim that voting fraud is rampant.

Don't just take our word for it.

"In Affluent Greenwich, It's Republicans vs 'Trumplicans,'" This NY Times piece chronicles how the Greenwich Republican party transformed from a party representing conservative values to a franchise for the national culture wars.

"Cannot abide by Fazio and Fiorello's galling deception on CT's pro-choice legislation." Chairs of the Connecticut General Assembly’s Reproductive Rights Caucus call out false statements made by Senator Fazio and Representative Fiorello about the state's landmark Reproductive Freedom Defense Act, which they voted against.

On Tuesday, the choice

is clear.
