NEWS FROM THE WINERY

Hey Everybody!

Road construction is a big thing coming up. It will be a resurfacing project between Kimball and Dassel from July 10th until October 6th, 2023.

Here are some details about it:

Hwy 15 Resurfacing Project - MnDOT (state.mn.us)

We will be OPEN with reduced hours. 

WEDNESDAY - CLOSED!

THURSDAY - CLOSED!

FRIDAY 11 AM - 8 PM

SATURDAY 11 AM - 8 PM

SUNDAY 11 AM - 6 PM

The winery is going to have access from HWY -15. It sounds like there will likely be gravel from Kingston to the winery, but people are allowed, AND encouraged, to drive to Kingston, get there on County Road 27, and just go 1 mile north on Hwy-15 to get to the winery. It sounds like that's going to be the easiest way.

The vineyard season is going well. There's a lot of grapes on the vine, and it's a hot dry season thus far, which should ripen them well. It's a big crop so hopefully we can keep a few more of the wines you love in stock longer. For the new vineyard, this will be the first year we should get some production off of there.

The weather, although hot, has lead to many mornings and evenings at the winery. Things are quite beautiful and relaxing. People are bringing their dogs out more, so that's quite cute! It's always nice to see many of the repeat customers back. I always enjoy chatting with everyone. It's often hard to remember EVERYONE, but I'd like to let you all know, that it's interesting to chit chat with all of you and hear about your lives as well. Many of you are always curious about us, but it's definitely reciprocal! That's about all I have at the moment.

HOG ROAST

Please join us for our FREE Millner Heritage Hog Roast / Customer Appreciation Party on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, at 12 PM!

This event includes:

Roast pork, baked potatoes, home-style baked beans with bacon and buns,

PLUS, ONE GLASS OF WINE!

Meal serving time at 12:00 PM.

This event is free, requiring each couple to fill their Millner Heritage red bottle bag with six bottles of wine to take home, priced at a case discount!

REMEMBER: You must bring your six-pack bag to the event to enter (two people/bag). If you have more than one bag, bring another couple.

DON'T YOU OWN A BAG? Buy an entire case of wine at the party, and we will include you.

Join us on Sunday, August 20th, 2023, at 10:00 am for an exciting new event that features the fantastic scenery and landscape of Millner Heritage Vineyard & Winery! Whether you want to run, walk or enjoy the wine, this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. HUNGARIAN HARVEST FESTIVAL

Join the Minnesota Hungarians & Millner Heritage Vineyard & Winery for our 8th Annual Hungarian Harvest Festival & Grape Stomp this year and learn about Hungarian culture, foods, dance, and traditions; plus, you can stomp some grapes!
