LADIES RETREAT
A "BIG" thank you to all the ladies that attended the ladies retreat last Saturday. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as the team did putting it together. We were blessed to receive over 60 pillowcases to turn into dresses for little girls in third world countries. Thanks to all that took them home to complete by sewing and adding decorative ribbon and rickrack.

If you are interested, there are still around 20 that need some tender care by seamstresses. They can be picked up in the narthex. A gentle reminder that the completed dresses need to be returned to Faith by April 23. From Florida they will travel to Nebraska and be given to the Orphan Grain Train for distribution to warm climates in need of little sundresses. Again, thank you for your involvement in this project.
NEW GARDEN MULCH
MANY THANKS to the MEN OF FAITH & OTHER VOLUNTEERS who recently spread new mulch throughout the garden in preparation of Easter Sunday!
Also, thanks to the Garden Team who works in the garden every week to beautify and maintain it!

DAILY PRAYER
VENTURES
The ELCA offers daily Prayer Ventures, which may be found on their website, https://www.elca.org/en/Resources/Prayer-Ventures. The prayers for this weekend are below. Visit the website if you would like to follow the daily prayers!

1 Arab American Heritage Month Remember in prayer the diverse gifts, cultures, heritages and stories of our Arab and Middle Eastern neighbors and siblings in Christ, who remind us of the rich history and tradition of Christ’s church in the world. Ask God to bless and advance the advocacy, witness, leadership development and support for ministries provided by ELCA Arab and Middle Eastern Ministries and the Association of Lutherans of Arab and Middle Eastern Heritage.

2 Give thanks for the resources of our church, including ELCA World Hunger’s 40 Days of Giving, which guides us through Lent and helps us pray, study Scripture, respond to our neighbors in need and give generously for the good of communities around the world.

3 Pray that we will each use our unique gifts and passions as disciples of Christ, called to share the gospel and serve our neighbors, and that we will trust the Spirit to equip, inspire and embolden us for doing God’s work in the world, together.
