1. Clean kick wax or klister off ski bases using wax remover or GelClean. (In stock at HPC)
2. Thoroughly brush your bases with a copper brush. Get off any dirt that you might have picked up from the spring slush.
3. Apply a new layer of wax. We recommend Performance Red which has an ideal consistency for storage: not too hard or soft.
4. Sharpen those edges! Get any burrs taken care of before they rust, and be ready for razor's edge carving when the powder returns.
5. Place your skis somewhere free of dust and dirt. If you don't have a place like that, make sure to scrape off any dirty summer storage wax before heating it in next season! A cool, dry place out of the sun and in a neutral position that puts no pressure on either camber or rocker is best.
