Teen adventurers visit South
South is hosting students and leaders participating in an Arctic to Manhattan Semester Expedition this weekend! They are on a 750-kilometer journey from northern Canada, on skis, down Lake Champlain and the Hudson by canoe, to NYC.
The group, part of KROKA wilderness expedition school in NH, also stayed at South the last time the program ran, in 2019. Its director, Nathan Lyczak, remembers the visit as one of the highlights of the trip as many of the students had never been to church before and were fascinated to see how faith was integrated with social justice and community.
