Greetings Ministry Partners,

The CCI Global Conference in Thailand was a tremendous success! There were 200 delegates from 15 countries in Asia, Africa, and USA. The Philippine delegation of 39 staff members, Board members, teachers and students came back home with renewed vision for the growth and expansion of the ministry. I thank God for all the wonderful people who prayed for this conference and who gave generously so that we could go. Please continue to pray for the team of CCI Philippines as we start implementing the things that we learned during this Conference.

Training

Pastor Mabano held a Seminar on Advanced Expository Preaching (SAEP) in Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte with 20 participants from eight churches.

Testimony from one of the SAEP participants:

“I am Pastor Brendo Secula, pastor of Pancilan Community Church. During our first day of the SAEP, my eyes were opened wide, and the Lord touched my heart during the seminar. My understanding of book 1 and book 4 has greatly developed. It was the first time I had heard about the preceding and immediate context. I also learned that we can connect biblical times to the present day. Previously, I had thought that when we read the Bible, it was directly written for us. I didn't even know about the background or historical context of the passages I studied. I am grateful to the Lord for the CCI ministry, and especially for the SAEP."

Graduation

A class of eight students graduated at Christ the Cornerstone Christian Communities, Santo Tomas, Batangas in November. One of these graduates has planted and is pastoring a new church in Naga City. He will help us promote our training in the Bicol region. Each of the graduates received a Certificate of Completion from CCI, another certificate from their Bible school called USB (Undershepherd School of the Bible), a malong, and some books from CCI-USA. We are thankful for this class, their dedication to complete the courses and their monthly support to CCI Philippines.

Prayer Requests & Praises

Cora continues to disciple the ladies in our neighborhood. Ten people came to the Bible study last Wednesday to continue our study of the book of Revelation. Pray for Cora that the Lord may continue to fill her with wisdom, strength, and discernment. Pray that the Word would ignite a passion for further study and deepen the hunger for a closer relationship with God.

Please pray for the health of our staff and their families.

I thank J316 Ministries for sending us several basketballs, volleyballs and gospel bracelets. I gave these away to our Coordinators in the Philippines and to our friends in Thailand, and also to our local church in Baliwag. May these sports equipment and gospel bracelets not only serve as tools of outreach, but also as vessels of transformation. Pray that through their usage, lives will be impacted, and communities will be transformed.
