The Seashore Defense Fund (SDF) reached out to you last week with an ambitious appeal. We are thrilled and grateful that so far we have raised over $30,000 towards our $50,000 goal.

Our dear friends of the Pines, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, have challenged us to raise more. If we bring in another $10,000 they will match your donations with a $10,000 grant.

As Tom Viola, Executive Director of Broadway Cares noted in presenting the challenge, “Broadway Cares and Dancers Responding to AIDS are proud to join you in this important, essential and likely massive effort to save such a beautiful beach and the community created just behind it”
