In observance of Memorial Day, May 29, 2023 the Department of Public Works(DPW) will be closed, and no collection services will take place. Below you will find the trash and recycling schedule for the week of May 29-June 2.

1. Curbside pickup of grass clippings, leaves, plant waste, and light brush takes place on the scheduled Saturday dates listed beginning in April and ending in September. Please review the street listing to find out your zone and scheduled collection dates.
2. Place in 32 gallon standard garbage cans with lid and handles
3. Grass clippings, leaves, plant waste, and light brush can be mixed together during this period. Light brush should be tied with string in bundles no longer than 4 ft., or placed in 32 gallon standard garbage cans cut to the height of the garbage can.
4. Fifty(50) pound limit per can or bundle
5. NO DIRT, LOGS, ROOTS, OR STUMPS. NO PLASTIC BAGS
6. RESIDENTS ONLY (no contractors) may bring grass clipping and light brush to the Department of Public Works located on Jane Way off West Hanover Avenue during business hours, Monday thru Saturday, 6 AM to 1:45 PM.

Black Bear Education In NJ | As black bears in NJ continue to adapt to living in closer proximity to people and human development, they learn to take advantage of human-derived food sources. NJ Fish and Wildlife has been conducting an intensive public education and outreach campaign to teach residents, hikers, anglers and campers about how to safely coexist with black bears and minimize negative interactions.
