Eblen Charities Newsletter: May 31, 2022

We’ve been busy helping our community with their needs. The sudden and sharp increase in prices from gasoline to groceries has hit our community hard. We’ve continued to serve them with help for housing, and have also helped a lot of our neighbors with gasoline to get to medical appointments and job interviews.

But while we are seeing people struggling, we are also seeing people stepping up to help! Our community cares a lot – and we were happy to have 2 great local restaurants demonstrate that care by raising funds for us! Read on to learn more about Silverball Subs and Sovereign Remedies support. We are gearing up for our annual golf tournament with sports legend Brad Johnson’s golf tournament on June 7th, presented by Wicked Weed Brewing. And Eblen Charities is one of six finalists for Kudzu’s $10K Brand Giveaway. Please visit this site to vote for us – whoever gets the most votes wins a brand development package from Kudzu Brands! This would help us increase our presence and recognition in the community, and as a result be able to help more people living in and at the edge of poverty.

We’re grateful for your partnership,
Beth

Eblen Charities FANtastic Fan Project
When temperatures rise, something as simple as a box fan can potentially save a life!
We are so grateful to Sovereign Remedies who have sponsored our fan program! Their support will help us buy fans for low-income families who are living without air conditioning. How cool is that? You can learn more about Sovereign Remedies here.

We are very thankful to them and all who came by to eat and play.
