For all the coffee lovers in my hive, that venerate coffee as I do, I hope today you awakened your mind and senses with an exquisite cup of liquid heaven as I did.
The first International Coffee Day was celebrated in 2015 in Milan.
Just last week, I jumped on a webinar with renowned longevity scientist Dr. Valter Longo straight from Milan. I'm currently doing my 4th Round of ProLon with a small group this week and guess what? Coffee (no added milk or sugar of course) is allowed during FMD.
So if the world's authority on longevity gives a thumbs up for coffee, then bring it on.
I hope by now many of you have learned from me that the quality of the coffee you consume matters. It can make the difference between a healthy beverage and a health robbing one.
I prefer and recommend the former.
Thanks to my Panamanian Italian heritage, the love of coffee is in my DNA. Many have no idea that Panama produces one of the most exquisite and costly coffees in the world.
Panama's Geisha Coffee, I believe currently stands as the world's costliest brew. In September 2022, Lamastus family's Elida Geisha Aguacatillo fetched an astounding $6,034/lb from a Taiwanese buyer. Mind Blowing.
Geisha consistently emerges as the epitome of coffee brilliance. Obscure, yet brilliant.
I like that.
You can keep the 35 pairs of shoes (inside joke), just give me a cup of Panamanian Geisha coffee and a Cimbali M40.
