TOWN ROADS
CLEAN-UP

Scenes like this are all too common this spring throughout St. Germain. A late winter ice storm, followed by recent high winds, wreaked havoc with electrical service and pine trees throughout the community.

The Town Board asks for your patience as this clean-up will take time to complete. The Town Department of Public Works (DPW) Crew is typically especially busy in the spring with routine seasonal work, and this year is no exception. The additional storm damage work is a big burden to the crew. Progress with roadside clean-up is being made, but some roads won't be completed until likely well into the summer.
EXERCISE ROOM
UPGRADE COMING SOON

The Town Board has learned that its exercise room equipment in the Community Center will soon be replaced with much newer (only slightly used) equipment being donated by the Northland Pines School District.

Over the next few weeks, the room will be emptied, repainted and new carpet will be installed. Then the newer equipment will be moved in and readied for free public use. So, if you are a regular user of the exercise room, please be patient during the transition.
