InvestNH Fund ($100M)

The InvestNH Housing fund is a $100 million state investment to incentive developers and towns to build more housing, break down barriers at the local permitting level, and grow the economy to increase the tax base and attract businesses to the state.


View the Press Release to see how the $100 million fund will be allocated and how Senate Bill 400, the "community toolbox" bill, will try to lessen municipal barriers for affordable housing developers. 


We expect to receive more details and guidance on how to apply for these funds by the end of this month and will send out any updates accordingly. 

Cartier's Women's Award ($100k)

The Cartier Women's Initiative is an annual international entrepreneurship program that aims to drive change by empowering women entrepreneurs. They offer both regional awards for women and thematic awards for all genders to apply, with this year focusing on a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion award. In addition to grant money, the winning applicant will receive one on one training and business exposure.


  • 2023 Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Award - open to all business owners regardless of gender
  • 2023 Science & Technology Pioneer Award - open to women business owners
  • 2023 Regional Awards - open to women business owners

Amber Grant for Women ($10k)

There are several different Amber Grant options for women-owned businesses and non-profits. Filling out one application makes you eligible for all grant options.


  • "Business Specific Category" Monthly Grant ($10k) - July: Animal Services
  • Year-End Grant ($25k) - pulled from the 12 business category grant winners
  • Mini-Grants ($2k) - given away 12 times per year
  • WomensNet "Marketing Grant" - "hands on" marketing help to business or nonprofit
  • Quarterly Nonprofit Grant ($10k) - awarded 4 times per year to nonprofits


Women owned businesses with a compelling story are strongly encouraged to apply.

NH Win-Win Incentive ($500 - $2k)

If an individual is hired based on the referral of an existing state employee and starts work before June 30, 2023 and works for at least three months, a financial award will be split between the referring employee and new hire. $1,000 to each individual if the new hire is hired for a full-time position, and $500 to each individual if the new hire is hired for a part-time position.


The second initiative, aimed at retaining existing workers will provide cash bonuses to state employees who provide direct care or work in institutional settings that provide direct medical or mental health care and/or work in a state-run institutional setting, are hired before July 1, 2022, and remain in their positions or another critical position through November 17, 2022, would receive $2,000 to full-time employees and $500 to part time employees.


Information has yet to be released on the application process, but further inquires can be directed towards Governor Sununu's Communications Director.

The Small Business Development Center's Financial Accelerator Marketing Expeditor (FAME) is offering up to 5 hours of legal assistance with attorney consultants at no cost to businesses! Receive help with: 


  • Corporate governance documents
  • Trademark application analysis and filing of initial application
  • Review of commercial loan documents
  • Review of commercial lease documents
  • Preliminary planning for private offerings/angel financing (up to drafting of term sheet)
  • Preliminary planning for buying or selling a business (up to drafting of term sheet or letter of intent)

Center for Women & Enterprise Training

The Center for Women and Enterprise helps business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs launch and grow their business by providing access to free resources, tools and support they need. Their website features daily webinars and on demand courses to help educate small business owners about marketing, sales, and business plans. These online resources are available to anyone after registration.

Small Business Development Center eCourses

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is launching short 15 minute eCourses at no cost to help small businesses with relevant digital marketing topics such as: 


  • Three Steps to Crafting an Effective Small Business Website
  • How to Write Website Content for Humans (and Robots, too!)

GrantWatch’s funding sources award grants and government contracts to local, national and international nonprofits (NGOs), government agencies, small businesses and individuals. 


Grants.gov, under the President's Management Agenda, was chartered to deliver a system that provides a centralized location for grant seekers to find and apply for federal funding opportunities. Today, the Grants.gov system houses information on over 1,000 grant programs and vets grant applications for federal grant-making agencies.
