Scarecrow Walk Winding Down

We've seen lots of families out walking, viewing and sharing positive comments about the 2022 scarecrows on social media. Here 's a small sample:

"Alright Waterdown businesses! I absolutely LOVE the spirit of this town. You guys do a great job!"

"I've walked by several times and love the spirit - we are new to the 'Village' and this kind of community atmosphere makes us feel so at home"

Thanks for making the 2022 Scarecrow Walk a big success.

Treat Walk This Sat.
Weather looks promising for a great Treat, Pet and Zombie Walk this Sat., Oct. 29, 11 AM to 2 PM.

Hand Out Treats?
If you're not already listed in the brochure but would like to hand out treats from your business, please call Susan at (289) 260-1261 and we'll make sure to deliver a purple balloon to your location (to mark you as a treat location).
If weather is good, we could have record numbers. Stock up so you don't run out. FYI - we're stuffing 400 goodie bags for each of the two BIA treat stations.

There are lots of fun activities for little ones, furry ones and spectators. Please share posts and let your clients know about all the events, including:

Treat Walk - 11 AM to 2 PM - kids collect treats at participating businesses
Zombie Walk - 11 AM - walking dead wannabes collect in the Royal Coachman patio, Walk starts sharp at 12:30 PM. Spectators can watch zombies from Main St. N.
Pet Parade - Teach a dog a new trick - group training at 12:40 PM, Parade starts at 1 PM sharp. Spectators can watch pets in costumes from the back of Memorial Hall, along Mill Street South and west along Dundas Street to Main St. N.
