Summer is Here! And the Sunset from this School Year is Beautiful!
Thank you parents, students, teachers, and staff for your joy, enthusiasm, generosity, and dedication! In this comeback year that started with masks and ended with smiles, you have advanced our school mission to develop compassionate, engaged students who are happy to be at school. You create and embody the positive, community-driven culture that distinguishes our Hyde Park School Community. Parents, your dedication to your children and to this great school is its lifeblood. And because of you, this community is not just excelling but is happy in the process of doing so. Thank you! Have the restful and joyful Summer that you have earned!
Thank You, Outgoing PTO President Jacquie Purcell!
For the past year, there has been an ever-present, always-reliable, and fiercely dedicated leader gracing nearly every aspect of Hyde Park School. Our outgoing PTO President Jacquie Purcell has tirelessly and happily devoted her time and effort to the school in both concrete and intangible ways. To name just a few among countless, she spearheaded the highest grossing Spring Celebration to date. She maintained a line of communication with the teachers and staff about their wish lists, which in turn often enabled the PTO to provide the teachers with extra resources to purchase additional supplies or programs to better engage and support our children. But even more so, her dedication and there-for-HPS-at-a-moment's notice mentality enhanced the unmatched, characteristic positive culture of HPS we all value so deeply. I am not joking when I say that she was working on a HPS PTO project while--literally--sitting on a ride at Disney World, the Happiest place on Earth!! What?? Who does that? Only Jacquie!! So it's more than obvious that we had the right woman for the job as PTO President at Happy Hyde Park School! Use your imagination for a moment, and in the Mickey Ears pic below, replace the Disney Castle with our beloved "H Castle" logo. That's the shirt an Etsy artist is creating for dear Jacquie. She was the Queen of our HPS Castle! Thank you, Jacquie! (Side note: Today's her Birthday!! HBD, JP!)
